The sludge dewatering process is the final stage of the sludge treatment of a biological, as well as chemical wastewater treatment plant. The aim of sludge dewatering is to remove the maximum amount of water and produce dewatered sludge, which is then transported in containers for external treatment. By reducing the volume of sludge, the costs of sludge removal and disposal are saved.

The produced reject water is discharged back to the treatment plant. Anita™Mox technology can be used to reduce the nitrogen content of the reject water.

In cooperation with dewatering equipment suppliers, we can design:

  • Decanting centrifuges
  • Screw presses
  • Filter presses
  • Screen belt presses

We also offer to carry out variant studies of dewatering, including laboratory or semi-operational tests of sludge dewaterability and turnkey design of optimal dewatering technology.
